Using tokens for lifetime vip tiers

I am trying to set this plugin up to give players lifetime access to tiered ranks 1-4. I have everything setup the way I want it to work except that I would like to restrict players from using tokens of a lower tier while allowing them to upgrade from a lower tier to a higher tier and then blocking usage all together when they have the highest tier. Example: A player with Tier 3 can not redeem a Tier 1 or Tier 2 token, but they can redeem a Tier 4 token to upgrade their tier,  and since Tier 4 is the highest, they can no longer redeem any tokens. How can i achieve this?

There isn't any way to achieve this really. This plugin simply provides group access for a temporary period of time when consuming the token. It doesn't restrict token consumption if another token is active.
