Stacking does not work properly

The ingredients are separated when I pull them out, they stay separated when I pull them back into the ingredient bag. now when I close the bag and then open it again, all the ingredients have rejoined into large stacks.

That is a mechanic of the ingredient bag, since there can be a large number of different ingredients.

It's not. The function will only trigger for ingredients spawned by the plugin.
