Great and fun plugin 
but using the Halloween train with default settings eats up 20 server fps and it lags badly. 
Any chance what I could do improve or if it can be looked into?

Solutions to the problem:
1. replace locomotive_halloween with locomotive_new or locomotive_turret or locomotive_default for train_halloween
(locomotive_turret or locomotive_default have the least impact on performance among locomotives)

2.If 1. doesn't help, remove halloween_wagon from this train preset. It also has a significant impact on performance

 

This is my first experiment with so many objects moving at the same time. Next time I will try to use fewer of them)

I look forward to seeing your new Halloween experiment!!

I wonder how many objects are on it 😄

From my experiments with editing train wagons in rust edit and placing tons of extra objects and loot, trains haven't caused performance issues on our server.
(except when I accidentally add non-parentable objects to the wagons but as you know I found out the hard way, that just breaks the whole plugin haha, but  simple trial and error)


We have not updated yet,  but wow I see the new screen shots - looks awesome, nice work Adem!

Ok, Halloween train was awesome. I question though : Will you be doing a Christmas train, and will the NPCs be dressed as evil elves?

I plan to make two customization presets for the new year:
New Year's Train - 100%
and gingerbread train, if the developers release DLC with new building blocks

I don't see so many Easter decorations, compared to Halloween and New Year. So I won't promise)

If you have any good ideas about Any presets for train decorations, you can create them in RustEdit and send them to me. If they are cool, then I immediately add them

I would like to create a non-thematic (Default) customization for trains. So that it really looks like an armored train) which will be default in moments if there are no holidays

(Only objects from the F1 console are allowed to be used)

There are tons of options for the NPCs. I like to terrorize my players with a wandering "Big Bad Bunny" in April.

Is it possible to have the NPCs dismount from the train and chase players like they do in Convoy on attack?

@adem This is indeed a very good idea, especially if you set "Stop the train after taking damage [true/false]": true.

All players are attacked, although 
      "Can an Npc attack a non-owner of the event? [true/false]": false,
      "Can Bradley attack a non-owner of the event? [true/false]": false,
      "Can a helicopter attack a non-owner of the event? [true/false]": false,

Yes, I use the PveMode plugin
there were no problems before the update.

These parameters work only when the pve mod zone is created (the train is stopped)

Sorry if I seem to be missing something. But I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, because as I said before the updates everything worked without any problems. Here is my config. I would be grateful if you would take a look at it.

I'm sorry, I checked without owner status, with owner status only turrets are attacked, after the driver was killed and train stoped ***
