In my opinion the Carbon framework is awesome!  Outside of all the skeptics tossed around through the grape vine, Carbon has a lot of pros. Just the simplicity itself of installing and configuring Carbon can have a server up in going in less than a couple of days. I am not a veteran programmer by any means so take my opinion with a grain of salt I am just all about performance and simplicity and carbon offers that. Easy to navigate UI, Quick config access, Plugin store access and built in gather/stack size modification through the framework! What else could you ask for on the simplicity end? With that being said does Carbon have a ways to go? Well yes a project like this is never done and there is always room for improvement but it also takes two to tango on plugin compatibility some devs should match Carbon. If they don't want to intergrate and make their work compatible with Carbon then how is it the Carbon devs issue?. Universal compatibility can only go so far if the devs do not throw out their helping hands.  Based off what we have been given here right now FOR FREE, is top tier. Amazing support from the carbon team and its community. Can't wait for the future of this frame work!

It's good. I like the Carbon platform, as it can integrate both Harmony mods and Oxide, and it has a host of great perks for those developing plugins for Rust. Excellent work, Carbon team.

I love Carbon! Best thing we've switched to. Been using it for months now for all 5 of our servers. Has enabled us to use plugins together we wouldn't have been able to with Oxide! Not only that, but I really love being able to use /cpanel while in-game as it has made my life sooooooo MUCH easier! I can't wait to see what happens in the future for it. I wish everyone on the Carbon Team much luck and I appreciate everything yall have done with this.

After a successful switch to Carbon my test server, the implementation was uneventful on the public server.  One mod, Monument Addons, did not compile, but commenting out a single line allowed it to work.

Carbon is quite intuitive and seems very smooth and quick.  The integrated control panel with commonly used modules is very handy and efficient.  I reduced my mod count by eight or so.

If you're starting from scratch, don't bother with Oxide, go with Carbon and activate the Pulgins tab.

Excellent work gentlefolk, I'm looking forward to enjoying new features and functionality as Carbon matures.

So after having some 1 off issues getting setup, (With 180+ mods its bound to happen to at least 2/3) this server is FLYING with 183 mods going.

It's insane how much smoother the server feels compared to a few hours ago using Oxide. I'm even seeing some functionality that was lost in some mods on oxide being restored & working here, which is kind of odd.

5* all freaking day.

Only issue I have is with Electronic IO related hooks. Not something I can fix on my side, and IDC, because the speed this server flys at now is just nuts. I am now full time carbon, oxide was great but it was time for something new, this is definitely it!.

This is a lovely piece of work, and I'll explain why:

This modding framework is such a performance gain, I have almost 70 plugins on my server, and even with that many plugins, only 1/3rd of all the hook are being actively used. That's a massive performance gain for my server!

The installation is pretty straight forward, I ran into some small bumps, but Raul over at the Carbon discord was very kind and helpful and helped me to get Carbon running on the server with ease.

One of the biggest advantages is the beautiful UI that comes with Carbon, it has built in Stack/Gather manager, that means 2 fewer plugins on the server, and on top of that, it has built in administration tools, like kickban, freeze, vanish etc., pair that with no more need for an external admin menu, and you just tossed a bunch of plugins into the dumpster, saving you even more resources on your server.

10/10, looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Carbon.
Great work!
